Right Care

Changes to North West London NHS services

Temporary changes are being made to NHS services, to help us deal with the coronavirus pandemic.

These temporary changes will help us to focus all our efforts and resources in the best way to tackle the covid-19 outbreak. Please read our update here for the latest information about local services and please check with individual services to see if any further changes have been made before trying to use them.

Getting the right care from the right place is important. It will help you get the quickest help and will help the NHS across Hillingdon to provide the best possible care for everyone.

Urgent care and Accident & Emergency services have seen significant increases in demand in recent months and we need your support to make sure NHS emergency/urgent care teams across the borough are able to focus on people with the most serious illnesses.

Use this section to find Hillingdon NHS services for routine and urgent help; and for advice on how you can look after your own health.

GP extended access

It is now easier for residents in Hillingdon to make a GP appointment at a time that suits them, including evenings, weekends and bank holidays. GPs and nurses can now offer patients appointments from 6.30pm-8.30pm, Monday to Friday and from 8am-8pm, Saturday and Sunday. These appointments can be booked by contacting your GP practice directly or via NHS 111 if your practice is closed.

These new hours are in addition to existing GP services, meaning that residents can now pre-book GP and nurse appointments from 8am-8pm seven days a week.
