We are looking to redesign a key NHS service and we want you to be involved!

Within Hillingdon and NW London, we want to create a system which will be able to provide excellent and accessible healthcare support for urgent and emergency needs. We want to make sure that this system is able to deliver access to the right care first time for the majority of patients through a networked model with different services provided along with robust and intuitive pathways. We want this to be available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year so that whenever you need urgent care, it is easily and quickly available.
By making sure that the system is joined up, intuitive and truly patient-centred we can future-proof and strengthen care across Hillingdon. People with urgent care needs can be seen or redirect to the appropriate service more often closer to home, improving satisfaction and reducing confusion, while reducing pressure on our accident and emergency departments. For those with more serious needs we must ensure access to high quality care in appropriate facilities with the right expertise.
What is the Urgent Care Centre?
The Hillingdon Urgent Care Centre is a GP led service operating 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year and provide support for non-life threatening urgent health issues. In Hillingdon, the Urgent Care Centre is based at the front end in the same building as the Accident and Emergency Department at Hillingdon hospital.
The Hillingdon Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) is working to develop the current Urgent Care Centre to make sure it can deliver on these crucial areas and we want to hear from you.
